Once you contact our office to schedule your initial session, you will be sent a demographic and insurance section via your client portal. Fees for mental health services vary depending on the contracts with different insurance companies.

I understand that navigating insurance coverage can be complex, but I'm here to assist you in understanding how your insurance benefits apply. Depending on your plan, insurance may cover the entire cost of services, provide a discounted contracted rate, require a standard copayment, or necessitate meeting a certain deductible before coverage is provided.

For your reference, my standard rates for self-pay services are as follows:

Initial mental health assessment: $175
One-hour therapy session: $140

In addition, I offer a limited number of sliding scale slots to support individuals who may have financial constraints. I believe in making therapy accessible and will work with you to explore the options available to meet your needs.

Any arrangement you have for medical insurance is a contract between you and the insurance company. YMCW’s biller does verify coverage once it is entered in the system under your file; however, In order for you to know clearly what your coverage is beforehand, you will need to call your insurance carrier and find out exactly what outpatient mental health services your policy covers with your therapist and what the conditions of coverage are.

If your insurance carrier does not cover, or ceases to cover, for any reason, you are financially responsible for all charges. It is always your right to wave insurance coverage to pay for services yourself and avoid all of the intricacies of insurance. Self pay clients are charged 140 per hour and some sliding scale slots may be available, per therapist’s discretion.
